Expert Guidance

A team of experts across various fields has been assembled, all committed to the founders' success.

They will have the opportunity to learn from Brand Strategy Experts, Venture Capitalists, Grant Experts, Pitching Experts, Innovation and Go-to-Market Strategy Experts, and Alternative Funding Experts.

“BWFA provided structure and helped me identify areas of improvement within my business model and how to sharpen up my deck. It added more confidence for me to get up and speak and understand that support can only be garnered if I believe in what I am building first. Kat created access to information which is powerful. This is the catalyst for me to continue to apply for more opportunities that can aid me and my business.”

Dr. Rebecca Cesar, Tinted Health, BWFA Alum

Hands-on Workshops

Interactive sessions designed to provide real-time feedback and actionable insights will assist the founders in crafting compelling brand narratives, securing grant funding, and developing effective product launch strategies.

“We received a grant from the Ohio Commission on minority health to coordinate two community events during minority health month..!

I can’t say enough great things about my experience in your Founders Academy. Life changing…I wouldn’t be making this announcement without the knowledge I gained from the academy!"

Jatu Bokai, mOBiNurses, BWFA Alum

A message from our founder.

I find myself constantly returning to a simple truth: this is, and will always be, a loving endeavor.

When I started The Well Work, I never imagined it would become a flourishing community of over 50,000 founders, change-makers, and initiators. Seeing our community grow into such a powerful force has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Yet, even as we celebrate this incredible expansion, I find myself constantly returning to a simple truth: this is, and will always be, a loving endeavor.

As I continue to build and lead, I remind myself—especially in the toughest moments—that love and intention must be at the heart of everything we do. It’s tempting to get caught up in the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, where scaling quickly and chasing momentum are often glorified. But I know that, for me, moving with care and honoring my nature is non-negotiable. Growth shouldn’t come at the cost of well-being, authenticity, or self-compassion.

I’ve learned to listen to my intuition and to stay true to the way I move through the world thoughtfully, intentionally, and with purpose. And the beauty of it all is that even as I honor this slower, more deliberate pace, our community continues to flourish. We’ve created a space where founders, funders, and everyone in between come together to learn, growing beautifully in alignment with our shared vision which is a world where Black founders are nurtured and our ideas are safeguarded.

So, as we reach this milestone, I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of this journey. Thank you for being change-makers in your own right and for reminding me that growth grounded in love and intention is still growth worth celebrating.

With gratitude,
Kat Gabrielle
